We are really keen on helping parents who are having mental health
challenges both pre and postnatally.
As such, 10% of our annual pre-tax profits will go to charities that provide help in this field.
We will give 5% of annual pre-tax profits to PANDAS foundation,
a charity who do sterling work to support parents. If you think you could benefit from some extra support, look below for details of how to contact them or to access more information.
The other 5% will support smaller, ‘local’ charities in this field, that are important to you. If you have a charity you would like us to donate to, please send us an email entitled CHARITY SUPPORT to
explaining why they are so special to you.
Each year we will pick three ‘local’ charities to support.
Pre and Postnatal depression advice support services (PANDAS Foundation.)
A perinatal mental health charity covering the UK. Run by a small management team and a pool of trained and passionate volunteers. Offering empathy and signposting for parents who may be struggling with their perinatal mental health.
We support thousands of parents and their networks, from conception to birth and beyond. Through peer to peer support and motivational social media content. Creating a community to make sure parents feel supported through emotional times during parenthood.
“Baby Blues” is a common term used, which can be a dangerous assumption of low mood. And experiences such as isolation and loneliness are also factors that can contribute to mental illness. We are here to support service users by focusing on self-care and next steps.
We recruit regularly to meet the needs of the growing numbers of parents who are concerned about their perinatal mental health. Supporting a stretched and under-resourced NHS, which is unable to meet the needs of every parent who does not appear to be at ‘crisis level.’ Or parents that cannot access the support they need.
We are the go-to for parents who want to be listened to and their feelings understood. Resulting in feeling less alone in their parental journey.
We invest heavily in our volunteers with safeguarding, training, escalation process and continued knowledge of perinatal mental health including other referencing support charities and agencies.
Our volunteers are a selection of women who have lived through this experience.
And also are training or qualified within maternal health care.
We recognize the dedication our volunteers contribute through our Very Important PANDAS (VIP) nominations, prize giving, and celebrating success and overcoming challenge.
There is always hope.
